As per previous notice, the main benefit for KL-CTDS (V2.0) and SKD-BNK (V2.0) screwdriver is no more calibration requirement when performed screwdriver exchange.
Here kindly note that Kilews expect to start the production by the beginning of July, 2017.
The CE will be also available at the same time.
As to the price of KL-CTDS (V2.0), it is 16% increased than the present V1.7.
The price of SKD-BNK (V2.0) screwdriver is same as the present V1.7.
The outline dimension of KL-CTDS (V2.0) is bigger than V1.7.
Just there is no appearance difference between V2.0 and V1.7 of SKD-BNK screwdriver.
If you customer has SKD-BNK (V1.7) screwdriver, in order to identify the screwdriver,
please remind your customer to make sticker on the screwdriver.
Enclosed is the DM of KL-CTDS and the function table between V2.0 and V1.7 for your reference.
So from now on, please make the promotion mainly on the new version V2.0.
If there is any repeated order for V1.7, kindly check the delivery with Loover in advance.
Just remind that the SKD-BNK (V2.0) screwdriver can’t be compatible with current version of KL-CTDS (V1.7).
Also SKD-BNK (V1.7) screwdriver can’t be compatible with KL-CTDS (V2.0) due to communication protocols and calibration record memory location are different.
From enclosed DM, we have mentioned that KL-CTDS (V2.0) can be used with Bar code scanner and KL-AMS (can select wireless or wired lan module).
1. For Bar code scanner, the operator can scan the barcode to select the program setting or record the serial no. of each workpiece.
This is an optional item to order.
In order to prevent the setting error happened, Kilews suggest to buy it from Kilews for the first order.
Now, Kilews offer two specifications as below.

In order to increase the convenience of operating on KL-CTDS and SKD-BNK screwdrivers, KILEWS is going to develop new version of KL-CTDS software named V2.0, which major feature change is calibration results will be record in individual screwdriver’s internal memory chip instead of record in KL-CTDS as current version’s configuration, the benefit of this feature change is no more calibration requirement when perform screwdriver exchange, therefore KILEWS considered this improvement is a trend and absolute necessary, the estimates launch time of KL-CTDS version 2.0 as expected approximately in 2-3 months later from now.
Due to the feature of KL-CTDS improve as above description, the SKD-BNK screwdriver is also required for some upgrade to achieve modified feature, therefore the upgraded SKD-BNK screwdriver will be different from the current SKD-BNK screwdriver, please be noted that the SKD-BNK screwdriver version 2.0 or above can’t be compatible with current version of KL-CTDS (V1.7), also the current SKD-BNK version screwdriver can’t be compatible with upcoming version of KL-CTDS (V2.0) due to communication protocols different and calibration record memory location changed.
